About StratCon
Not a generic digital agency
StratCon is led by Riaan van Straaten, a technology and business consultant with a background spanning software development, business process improvement, CRM and workflow automation, and clinical research data automation.
Riaan has a B.Sc IT degree and has worked across software businesses, CRO/pharma environments, statistical programming, SAS/R data workflows and digital transformation initiatives. He is also a shareholder in Bitcube, a software engineering company with clients in South Africa and the UK — where StratCon refers full-scale software and product development, so every project lands at the right size of team.
Through StratCon, he helps businesses bridge the gap between operational problems and practical technology solutions — understanding the business process first, then shaping the right technical implementation.
Away from the keyboard he's a husband, dad of two, avid squash player and self-confessed half-Ironman wannabe — if he's not answering, he's probably in the pool, on the bike, or losing an argument on the squash court.
